The Thelmas are looking to recruit a Senior Producer

A brilliant opportunity for an experienced and ambitious producer to become a core part of The Thelmas, contributing to the development of a grassroots organisation into a dynamic and resilient national touring company. As the third member of our team you will play a key role in elevating The Thelmas’ production model, helping us to increase our capacity to deliver our planned productions, kickstart our participatory offering, and strategically build on our successes to scale up to mid-scale touring.

The Senior Producer will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of The Thelmas’ artistic work, including R&Ds, touring productions and participatory projects to reach new and existing audiences across the UK. They will also support the strategic development of relationships with venues and organisations whose work is in line with our vision & mission.

You’ll be driven by the idea that female-led work should exist on its own merit (not always seen as niche), and understand how the themes of our work are of universal value. It’s essential you share our belief that the arts play an integral role in changing the world, and can embrace our socially engaged practice.
